How to deform Mario's Face
To deform Mario's face, at the start where it says "press start"
DONT. What you should do
is click near Mario's face and click any feature like his hat. Take the hand that is shown
and hold down A. Move the stick and Mario's face is deformed!
Cannon View Glitch
Hop
into any canon in the game. Press the "A" button just before the crosshair appers (And I mean Exactly). If you did
it correctly, the crosshair should be gone and the view is not in a circle. It's very hard to fire yourself where you want
you want to go and everything is disoreinted.

Hat trick
in a
course where you can loose your hat go there and loose your hat then go through the warb a few times and go back to where
you lost your hat there should be a stack af hats go and pick up your hat and mario will put it on then go back and pick up
another hat mario will then take off his hat and swing it like a weapon. But be careful you lose double the power if you get
hit by an enemy attack.
Mario's Hat Factory Part 2
Have you ever wanted
to do the hat trick in other levels besides Stage 10? Now, you can do the trick even earlier in the game. First, go into Stage
8 and make sure that you select Star 2 or higher. Go to the area where the pink Bob-omb is standing and let the bird steal
your hat (you know, the bird that looks like Mini-Necky from DKC.) Now get on top of one of the obelisks and jump to knock
the hat away from the Mini-Necky when he swoops by. Don't take the hat! Just leave it there and stand next to the palm tree
so that you warp to the area near the cannon. Warp back and forth as many times as you like (well, don't do it too much ...)
and there will be another new hat each time. If you pick up too many hats at once, Mario will hold one in his hand! This is
similar to the trick on Stage 10.
There are a few things you can do with the hat trick on Stage 8 that you couldn't
do on Stage 10. One cool trick is to go ahead and create a large pile of hats, but leave them there. Then, look for a Wing
Cap and fly back over to the pile of hats. Now pick up a bunch of them, and Mario will hold the Wing Cap in his hand! You
can now fly around without wearing the Wing Cap!! (Peter Pan, eat your heart out.)

when you collect 120 stars go back to cool cool mountain and choose the big penguin race and go into
the cabbin and the penguin will be huge (and he is harder then before)

find a door and do a wall kick to it and half of mario will be on one sid the other half on the other.
Youcan also do this with the rabbit so you can carry the rabbit to other parts of the castle.
Turn butterflies into things
In course 2, 12 and 13 you will see some butterflies
do a butt stomp to one of them and it will ethier turn into a floting traking bomb or a one-up
hidden passageway into the castle
when you collect 120 stars go up to where yoshi is and get the wing cap fly
down into the cannon go into it and shoot yourself out of the cannon to the highest ledge you can fly to and climb up the
left side of the wall and walk to the front and you should fallinto a black room, go the opposite way of witch you can see
out of and go through it you should be close to the main hall go through the brick wall and you should be in the main hall.
chomp trick
when you are near chain chomp get the bomb-omb closest to him
pick it, up get closer tochain chomp and throw he should be a flying chain chomp and he cn also land whith his head facing
up.
bridge glitch
in bomb-omb battle field go near the bridge
and jump and hold a and mario should hold on now go to the end of the bridge and you should be able to climb up
The great dive of all time
Do what is nessesary to get on the 2nd
level on the roof explained
in 120 stars glitch. One of the walls you can walk up. Run and jump to the pool in front of the castle. push B in mid jump
to do a dive. If you jumped far enough, you should dive into the pool.
Mario the angel
In shifting sand land, get the wing cap and get in the cannon. Move it up all the way up and to the left. "KEEP THE
CONTROLL STICK ALL THE WAY BACK TOWARDS YOU UNTILL EXPLAINED OTHERWISE!"
Fire and take damage, bounce back into
cannon. Do process again. If you did it right, you should be dead inside the cannon. Fire once more and you can fly around
dead. Once you hit the ground your completely dead.
Get on top of the castle before geting 120 stars!
On
the right side of the castle, jump three times and wallkick the hill right next to the castle, wall kick the side of the castle
and on to the top.
Play With Two Marios!
Start new game. Complete first 3 stars on level
1 without geting hurt once. Complete secret slide in less then 18 seconds. (kind of hard! YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE!) Go to
the yellow box which would contain the star, but instead of a star, another Mario comes out. He follows you where ever you
go!
Elevator Trick
Go to Big Boo's House (course 5). Go into the little house on the left. What
you will see is an eyeball and a red grating on the floor. Walk onto the red grating and it will start to go down. Walk off
the grating while it is still going down and get under it. Mario's head will pop through the top of the elevator. You can
do the same thing on Hazy Maze cave (course 6), but duck and hold the duck button and it will look like Mario has totally
disappeared.
Cannon Trick
Go to Cool,Cool, Mountain (course 4). Work your way down to the
bottom cannon. Get in the cannon and aim at the solid bridge above you and fire, you should go right through the bridge and
end up standing on it. You can also shoot through the bridge with the jumping snowmen on it. Next, go to the cannon again
and shoot across the canyon to the other cannon straight across from you. Get in that cannon and aim straight up and fire,
you'll see Mario hit the rock ceiling and fall back into the cannon, without losing any power.
Cool Rabbit Glitch/Trick
I know a cool trick to bring the rabbit into other rooms! It's kinda hard but worth it. Get
20 or 50 stars to make the rabbit appear. Then, go catch the rabbit, but don't take his star. Instead, pick him up, take him
near the door you want to take him through, and set him down in front of it. then, go through the door, and immediately turn
around and press A and B and toward the door at the same time. This could take some practice, but you should get stuck in
between the door. Pick the bunny up. turn around, and set him on the other side of the door.get out of the door and do whatever
you want with him!
Sound Glitch
This is a sound glitch in Mario 64 that's pretty neat.
You do it in Bobomb Battlefield. You MUST choose the second star (When you race Koopa the Quick.) First you go and get the
wing cap near the bridge at the beginning of the level. Then you go over and talk to Koopa and start the race. The Racing
Music now plays instead of the wing cap music. You start to climb the mountain but go into first place where you can teleport,
the cave or whatever you want to call it.(Where the Big Black Balls come out of) Your wingcap should have disappeared after
you teleported. Keep climbing the mountain till you get to the top and go to the flagpole. When Koopa finally arrives he'll
talk to you and the race music will stop. But the Flying Music will start to play! You have no wing cap but the wing caps
music starts playing and keeps on playing for the rest of the level until you die or get a star.
1-up Racing!
Go to Bomb-omb Battlefield and run to the cannon under the floating island. Climb up the far tree and get
ready to run! As you reach the top a 1-up should appear. Quickly leap off and run away! The 1-up will be following you through
the whole course! If you think you lost it look behind walls (with caution!) in case it got stuck. You can warp, fly, shoot
out of a cannon, and surf on the shell and it will still follow! The only way to lose it is to die. Put the hold cam on to
check the position of the 1-up behind you! This is a fun thing to take a break for if your bored with the game. Also look
for 1-ups that follow you (to get the ones that follow you must climb a tree) in other stages like Whomp's Fortress (on the
pole) Snowman's Land (top of the snowman) and Tiny-Huge Island (on the far side of the hill)!
Gravity
and invisible Mario
This is more a camera trick than a glitch (like you usually find in SM64) but it's pretty cool anyway.
First have the moat drained. When you start outside the castle, go inside or to the Blue ! place and change the camera
to Lakitu-Stop. Now come back out and into the lake. Now go across to the side without the cannon that has a brownish type
color looking wall. Now, get this-walk up the wall.(crawling also looks cool too) After you're done messing around with that,
find a spot on the wall that you can stand still and not fall down. Face away from the wall, and hit up-C so it's "Turn
Mario's Head Camera." Turn so you can see inside the wall.Then hold R for stop camera. get out of "TMHC," but
still hold R. Now run around, and it should look like Mario's running on thin air! Now, still holding R, run over to the trees
by the castle. They should be floating also. Now climb one. Go to the top and do a handstand. Mario is invisible! Now, if
you jump off, Mario will reappear the instant he leaves the tree!!
Big glitch on Bowser's Sub
On
the Bowser's Sub course, collect 100 coins. Make sure the last coin you collect is a red coin in the air among the ropes and
not on a platform. When the star appears catch it and you will find Mario standing on the bottom of the lake! And just before
you are exiting the course Mario will pop up to the water surface!
Get stuck in the ceiling, with teleporter
effects
This is a VERY hard trick to do, but well worth the time to see it.
Go to Course 5 (Big Boo's House) and
run into the little house off to the left. Take the elevator down, and then get back on it. As the elevator goes up, switch
the camera to behind Mario (this is for the purpose of clear directions). Watch for when the ceiling pops into view. About
a second before the elevator stops, run toward the black strip it follows and jump and kick the wall. Your goal is to bounce
as far back as possible so that Mario's head gets caught between the elevator and the ceiling when the elevator stops. Make
sure to hold the direction you ran all the way through the end of the trick.
If done correctly, Mario will get stuck
between the elevator and the ceiling, walking along in mid-air. You can punch, but if you jump you will fall down, where the
elevator has mysteriously teleported down. However, if you duck, you will teleport down. Good Luck!!
Dizzy camera
Enter level 1 star 1. go to the big bob-omb and pause. set camera to "set with R". then hold r.
holding r, pick up the big bob-omb and bring him towards the camera. keep holding down and the camera starts to spin.
Exercising Mario!
Go into any coarse and pause it. Now go to the bottom of the menu and turn
the camera settings to Lakitu - Stop. Un pause it and hold down the R button. Face Mario towards you and hit C-Up. DON'T LET
GO OF THE R BUTTON! Now move the joystick around in circles SLOWLY! Mario's head moves around and it looks like he is exercising
his neck!
Easy way to slide backwards
At the edge of a slide (beginning),turn around so Mario
is facing you, then jump/A, kick/B and push backwards and you will land on the slide backwards!!
Castle glitch
When you are at the top of the castle talk to Yoshi and all now Walk along the castle (And if you remember
how there is like a entrance to the outside(Back)of the castle in the castle the basement all the Gosts are)well walk to the
end of the top of the castle and look down and you Will not see the back of the castle but instead see an Huge Lake now Here
it goes:Stop looking down and press the right C-Button a few times and you will SEE THROUGH THE WHOLE CASTLE!!!!
Koopa, where did you go?
Koopa the quick may be fast, but you can leave him behind in the blink o fan eye. In fact, you
can make him disapear altogether. You'll need to get the wing cap to perform this stunt, so when you enter Bob-omb Battlefeild,
run over to the wing cap block, get the cap, then return to the area where Koopa the Quick is waiting. Startingfrom just in
front of the cannon hole on the sone platform, perform a triple jumpin order to launch Mario into the air. The point at which
you launch into the air is the critical part of this trick. Fly for a short distance, then land, you'll receive the regular
messege from Koopa the Quick. If you accept you'll hear the race music, but Koopa the Quick will never show up.
Extra Coin in Tiny Huge Island
If you are small in Tiny Huge Island, you shold know that about the only way to kill the
Goombas is to jump on them. If you but bounce on them you will get a blue coin instead of a yellow.
Red coins on Blue Switch
If you keeping missing all the red coins when sliding down the slope in blue switch just use
the z button at the bottom to crawl your way back up the slide.
Easy way to catch the rabbit
Here's
an easier way to catch the bunny in the basement. Chase him to one of the two dead ends where he goes (the entrance to the
desert level and the place where the Mushroom man is) and run at him. Watch the exact route he takes to get away. Then, chase
him back to the same place. This time, stand in the spot where he runs to and walk slowly towards him. He'll run straight
at you, if you get it perfect he'll bump right into you. Just puch and you'll pick him up. This works in either dead end,
but you have to be pretty accurate, but it is still much easier than diving at him.

After you have beaten the second Bowser, go to the door at the top of the stairs in the lobby. Go through it.
Take about 4 or 5 steps, and make a left. Now, push against the wall and do a double jump. You will jump right through the
wall and pull yourself up to the top of the stairs!
A VERY COOL GLITCH
Walk through the
doors and go up the stairs but don't go through the door. Then make a right to the 2nd cloud on the wall. ( It's near the
hill on the balcony) Do a side somersault to the wall and you will land on top of the wall ( You will slide off a few seconds
later )
Fly up the mountain
On course 12, Tall, Tall Mountian, if when you start you
go to the left their will be an extra life, if you jump off at the corner you will fly up the mountian.
Floating Mario
After you get 120 stars get the wing cap and shot up to the ledge where you can walk completely around
the middle thingie and position yourself where your back is against the wall.Now change the view to the little Mario head
and press the bottom yellow C button,look Mario can "FLOAT"!
Ride on the Penguin
In Course 10, go to the big snowman's bridge and jump on the penguin's head. You can ride him across to the other side
of the bridge.
when you have 120 stars. go on top of the catle. after you talk to yoshi access the wing cap.then
fly really fast into the waterfall.then there will be a sign.it will say THIS IS NOT PEACHES PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This cheat is to ride on the tall tall mountain slide as many times as you want without going back up the mountain
over and over again.First go and get one hundred lives from yoshi(if you can) then climb tall tall mountain and go into the
slide for the first time, then you can ride all the way to the end but don't get the star just jump off the mountain.If youv'e
done that, then jump back into the level and you will be at the slide again.
This is a really cool
code.
First beat the 3rd Bowser, and get all 120 stars, and then go to Yoshi. After Yoshi gives you 99 lives enter this
code.C Up,C Down,A,B,Up,Down,Right,Left,Z. If it works you will see a big green star. You have a 90 minute time limit to get
the bonus 3 stars, and then get the green star. It's in a different spot. It's on the island in the sky in Bob-Omb Battlefield.)
Once you get the green star the game will reset. Then you will have 200 stars, and whenever you play a new game of Super Mario
64 you will have to beat the game by getting all of the stars first, talking to Yoshi second, and beating the 3rd Bowser last
How to get Princess Daisy.
In the first floor go to the Princess' Secret slide go down the
slide in 17 seconds or less and get the star weather it's blue or yellow. Once you have the star. Go outside near the water
fall and you will find Princess Daisy. She will help you defeat Bowser and save the Princess.
Hey
heres a way to get luigi.
People kept saying there is no way to get luigi yes there is. First you dont need 120 stars
then go to rainbow road and beat it 7 times. Then go to the first level and beat that 7 times. Then leave the castle and luigi
will be there, get him and you can play as him anytime you want.
This is a tip you can use to GET A TON OF LIFE'S!
What you do is after you drain the moat you go to the "Secret level under the moat" and slide down the hill
to get the life's on the ledges you can climb back up the hill. If you miss any "hold z and move around on the control
stick" Try to move straight or else you'll slide back down the hill. After you get all the mushroom's "DON'T LOSE
ANY HEATH" go to the first teeter toter and run from on side to the other 3 times on the 4th time just stand there don't
jump or anyting let it drop you off. You will end up in the water and won't lose any life's. Then jump out of the water and
do it all over again you will end up geting tons of life's and not losing any!!!! Try it.
Go on
yoshi's back
To go on Yoshi's back, u need to get 120 stars. Then go on the roof, and talk to him. When he jumps, press
A on the 2nd controller. Then beat the 3rd Browser.When it says "The End," press reset. Go in the castle, and Yoshi
will be there. Talk to him, and he'll say to get on his back to have a ride!
This really works!!!!!!!!!!
To
get an extra 3 stars, go to wet dry world but make sure you get a high jump into the painting to flood the place.
Extra 3 stars
Then shoot out of the cannon into the cage and swim down to the secret under
ground place.(oh yeah, you have to have 150 stars,this code gets you 153 stars)you will see those brown boxes floating, do
a pound the ground on all of themstars will appear at the bottom of the start place on the wood board.
To get
Peach walk with u, get 120 stars. Then beat the 3rd browser. when peach comes kisses u, press A with the 2nd controller. After
that when it says "The End" press rest. then wen u enter the castle, Peach will be standing on the sun picture.
Go up to her, press A. then she will talk, and then she will say she wants to walk with Mario.
This is kind
of a cheat but sort of cool to do.
When u start the game go in the castle and go all the way down the stairs and go back
up the stairs and at any point dive by running and by pressing B and ithere seems to be an invisible wall if you do it right
you should fall.
In course#12,Tall,tall mountain, instead of actually "blasting" to the lonely mushroom(star#6),
go to where the monkey is who steals your cap. You'll see a pink guy who blows fire at you and dives at you. Do a double jump
on him, and when you twirl, ignore the log and aim to the lonely mushroom(don't waste any time). If you're successful, you
will eventually land on the lonely mushroom and get the star there!!! This is not made up! It worked for me! Trust me! I have
120 stars myself!
120 stars shortcut
Get 60 stars, then go outside.Kill every
Boo,then go
to the first Bowser,jump off the edge,repeat this 10 times.Do it a eleventh time beat him.Beat him another 4 times.Next go
to Lava Land, beat the big bully.Then reset your Nintendo 64 10 times,and you should(hopefully)have 120
stars!!!!!!!!!!
COOL HU?
Metal Cap Shortcut
When you get all 120 stars,the cannon will open.blast to the
top of the castle and talk to yoshi.he will give you 100 lives.Next,get the wing cap and fly to the top of the waterfall and
you will be in the medal cap switch level.
150 stars!!!!!
If you are having trouble
getting 150 stars all you have to do is:
1. Stand on the sun in the castle and look up at the sky and get all the red
coins
2. Go into the courtyard and do a tripple jump and a butt slam
3. Go outside and get the two coins from
under the bridge plus the life!
4. Go to bomber-bomb land and get all the red coins plus beat the bomb-omb king on top
of the mountain
5. Then go back outside and do a handstand jump off of every tree making sure you haven't lost any of
your life
6. Go into the water and open the door on the side of the castle.Then if you have done this correct BOWSER
should give up and give you 150 stars along with the princess.
EARTHQUAKE POUND
Ever wonder
if there was an easier way to open the cannon outside the castle? By using the following code you can open the connon without
getting 120 stars. To do the"EARTHQUAKE POUND",which opens the connon outside the castle, jump up pressing A, and
hold Z along with the top and bottom "C BUTTONS" and when you do this, he will do the regular ground pound, and
then jump up alot higher and do the "EARTHQUAKE POUND" and the cannon should open. IT WILL WORK IF YOU DO IT ANYWHERE
OUTSIDE THE CASTLE EXCEPT IN THE MOAT.
Go out ino the court yard(were the boos are)and kill them all, but don't
get any of the coins. Once u have done that stand on the silver star and do a but slam on it. Luigi will apper to u in the
water!
To get new 5 secret stars
1.go in the basement and kick 1 of the blocks on the wall
2.go to sifting sand land and go on the pole and jump as hi as you can
3.go outside and make it look like your humping
the fence
4.touch all the trees outside
5.go in the connon and blast to the peach picures
In the course
where you can change the water-level, push the box away on the first stage. Stop Mario on halfway and wait some minutes.The
N64 give a error of stopping read memory. Reset the N64 twice and see a strange intro.This intro you see on the first time
you turn on the N64, this is: Check the cables and reset the N64.
Black room
After talking
to Yoshi, you can get a winged cap on the roof. Immediately, jump off the roof, and go to the cannon next to the lake. Aim
the cannon at the highest cloud over the top of the castle. After you fire the cannon, control Mario so he lands on the top
most part of the castle. There is a window he should be able to walk through. When you walk through, he should land in a completely
black room. This is probably a glitch in the game, but don't worry about it. To get it back to normal, just do a back
flip.
Another way you can see Yoshi (not up close) is by seeing him from far away. Go outside the castle, and stand on
(or near to) the caged cannon next to the lake. Make sure you use the "c" buttons to adjust the camera. You should
be able to see Yoshi hopping on the roof.
on hazy maze cave when you get to the
platform whith the four arrows
that make it move get on it and just move it a bit and then jump off and jump back on when it starts to flash now if you did
it right it will now be imvisible.
Getting the Master light cap
Go to the first star door with
no number on it enter that level go to the first thing to do and go hafeway up the mountan and look at the sun and do a backflip
and a box will appear.(it will only work if you have at least 100 stars)
Go outside the castle and go touch all
the trees. Then run and jump three times in a row to make Mario slam down in front of the castle door. The cannon then opens
outside. Shoot yourself to the top of the castle and yoshi will be on top of the castle.
When you collect 130 stars
go to the shore in front of where the sub comes out and there will be a canoe in there then aim above the picture of a peach
and you will find Yoshi.
If you would like to see some happy fish, go to Jolly Roger Bay and walk into the water,
but make sure you are still standing. Jump up and down in the water and you might inspire some local fish to leap out of the
water as
well! This trick takes a long time, so you can jump for a long time and get no results.
CHAPTER 2= 1-UPS
Infinite Lives
Go to any Bowser (the first will be the easiest.)
Don't kill him but run around and let him spit fire at you. When he spits fire he will drop coins. Collect these coins until
you get 1,000 coins. An "M" will appear next to the lives icon. Exit this course and let the fun begin. Every time
you die you will get a life but beware if get a 1-up you will lose a life(japanesse virsion ONLY)
1-up behind the gate
go right to the right side of the course and there is a gate and there should be a one up
secret 1-up in the tower
In the course whomps fortress go near the blocks where you
climb up and in the shadows (under the tallest block) punch it and it will reveal a secret 1-up
1-up underneath the castles bridge
ever wonder why those two coins are under the bridge? well i found out that
after you get 120 stars or cheat to the top you can fly to collect them and after that you will recieve a 1-up
1-up in front of the castle
near the castle if you face the castle and turn left go and
climb the tree thats nearest to the waterfall
1-up on the long pole in the fortress
near on pole in whomps fortress climb to the top of the upper part of the pole to recieve a one up

climb up the mountain untill you reach the scary shrooms patch and there should be a yellow box above one
of the mushrooms open it up to reveal a 1-up

When
you climb the mountain climb to the first set of gofers and step on eight gofers and you'll get a 1-up.
1-up with the gofer game(2)
climb the mountain untill you reach the vine climbers(vine climbers
are a patch of vines that you can grab and pull yourself across distances)cross the vine climbers. At the end of the vine
climbers there is four gofers, pound four of them to get a prize....a 1-up!
1-up in
tall,tall mountain(1)
climb up the mountain untill you reach the vine climbers which leads to the next set of gofers
but don't cross to the other side. Turn left and on the ledge next to you there should be a one up.
1-up in tall,tall mountain(2)
Climb up the mountain untill you reach the waterfall were you hafe to long jump across
but don't jump! Turn to your left and secretly tucked in there is a 1-up
1-ups in tall,tall
mountains secret slide
Before you start sliding turn right and there is a 1-up and turn left to get a coin. Now slide
down and grab 2 1-ups
1-up in cool fish's den
In tiny huge island be tiny
mario and turn left, start swimming to cool fish, and inside the centre is a 1-up!
1-up on the imposible island
climb up the mountain untill you reach the cubby hole be tiny mario and drop down to
the huge brick island next to the cool fish's den and there is a yellow box, break it open to get a 1-up
Unlimited
Lives in Final Battle
When fighting Bowser for the third time, if you get killed you can keep getting a 1-Up by walking
behind the top left pillar.
